Robert was lost in plane crash - the following are the other nine crew members also lost: (Note : If there are 2 Memorials, both are cenotaphs, one at at the Cambridge American Cemetery, one of fourteen permanent military cemetery memorials established on foreign soil by the American Battle Monuments Commission to honor the dead and missing in action of World War II. The 2nd Memorial would be at the soldier's home family grave lot.)
