Son of Mrs. Florence Wanser who resided in the District Of Columbia during the war.

Lloyd served as a Steward's Mate First Class, U.S.S. Partridge (ATO-138), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in the District Of Columbia prior to the war.

Lloyd was "Killed In Action" when the Partridge was sunk by a German E-Boat in the Atlantic while enroute to Normandy, France during the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

His remains were buried at sea.
