Glenn served as a Corporal, 290th Infantry Regiment, 75th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Coos County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on March 10, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in Construction and also as Single, without dependents.

Glenn was "Killed In Action" near the Salm River in Belgium during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
