Albert's parents were Homer William Duffer and Effie Beulah Duffer
from Shively, Kentucky.

Albert was Asst. Bazooka in 1st Platoon, I Co. 330th IR - 83rd ID.
He was killed by a German sniper on Jan. 6 1945 in Fraiture, Belgium.

Somewhere in France he and the Bazooka man Art Jacobson were personally awarded the Bronze Star by General Macon of the 83rd ID.

His grave at Henri Chapelle has been adopted by Belgium Wim Doms.
