Son of E. Fanny Brown who resided in Ontario, California.

Oliver served as a Private First Class in the 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided at 31 Hotchkiss Street, Rochester, Monroe County, New York.

He enlisted in the Army on July 27, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a mechanic and also as being Single, without dependents.

He was first wounded during battle in France on July 24, 1944 and recovered and rejoined his unit.

Oliver then "Died Of Wounds" that he received during battle in the European Theater.

He was awarded the Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster.
