Walter Stucker, 61, of Brinthaven Dr., Sylvania, OH, passed away suddenly, Friday January 15, 1993, at The Flower Memorial Hospital.

A Sylvania City Police Officer for 30 years, 17 years spent as a Sergeant. During his tenure he was a police photographer for 15 years and also a member of the K-9 Unit. Walt retired May 31, 1985. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Joseph W. Diehn American Legion Post # 468 and the Sylvania Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 129. He retired in May of 1985.

Walt is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Mary J. Mack; daughters, Mary Ann and Linda S. Stucker and Sandra Stucker Adams; sisters Marylin McDonald, Barbara Goddyn and Beverly Carney; brother, Clair Howard and Donald Stucker; and the pride of his life, granddaughters, Jennifer and Rachel Adams and Linda McGee.

At the Funeral Home, a fully dressed Police Officer stood by Walt's casket. He had a Police escort to the cemetery.
