Willett Rites Held In Kenton

KENTON, April 27 - Final rites were held at the grave in Grove cemetery, Kenton, late Monday for Dr. Herbert L. Willett, 78, noted theologian author and lecturer whose death occurred March 27 at his residence in Winter Park, Fla.

Previous memorial services had been conducted at Winter Park, Fla., at Kenilworth Union church, of which Dr. Willett was pastor-emeritus and at the University church of Disciples, Chicago, which he founded more than 50 years ago. Services were conducted by the elder son, Herbert L. Willett of Washington, D.C.

Dr. Willett was professor emeritus of Oriental languages and literature at the University of Chicago, and a lecturer and author on religious subjects.

The widow is a native of Kenton. Before her marriage, she was Gussie Price.
