Confirm Loss of Missing Airman
COOPER (Special)--Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Sandlin, living near Mt. Joy community near Enloe, received a message from the War Department, confirming the loss of their son, Lt. Cullen Sandlin of the Army Air Forces on April 20. He was previously reported missing, having been aboard a ship in the Mediterranean area.
He was a brother of R. B. [sic: Roscoe N.] Sandlin, the former Delta County school supervisor, and of Miss Vivian Eloise Sandlin, nurse at the Sanitarium of Paris.
