Frank served as a Private, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.
He resided in Essex County, Massachusetts prior to the war.
He enlisted in the Army on February 26, 1942 at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Guard and also as Single, without dependents.
Frank was first declared "Missing In Action" and after his remains were recovered his status was changed to "Killed In Action".
He was awarded the Bronze Star" and the Purple Heart.
