Arthur served as a Civilian Foreman with the Douglas Aircraft Company, U.S. Armed Forces in Northern Africa during World War II.
He resided in Michigan prior to the war.
He died at the Douglas Hospital, Gura, Eritrea from a Intracranial Hemorrhage and a possible fracture of the cervical spine. It was noted that he also had a fractured jaw. The reason for his injuries was not stated. He was first interred at the Douglas Hospital and was later re-interred here at North Africa during the war.
Husband of Agnes Kite who resided in Detroit, Michigan.
