Harry served as a Second Lieutenant, 95th Fighter Squadron, 82nd Fighter Group, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.

He resided in Baltimore County, Maryland prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 6, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the mechanical treatment of metals and also as Single, without dependents.

Harry was declared "Missing In Action" during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
