Mrs. Puffer was active in politics and served one year as an assemblywoman from Hawthorne. She worked at the Carson City children's nome for two years and was employed by the telephone company for a time. Survivors include a son, Kenneth McKough, Greenbrae, Calif; a sister Elia Wood, San Francisco, Calif.; and a brother, Oscar A Malo, Oakland, Calif. The Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at the St. Theresa Catholic Church by Msgr. George Smith. The Rosary will be said Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Capital City Mortuary. Burial will be in the Hawthorne Cemetery.
