TAYLORSVILLE — Phoebe Deuel Barton, 83, 4906 Woodhaven Dr., Taylorsville, died Jan. 23, 1976, at home after a long illness.

Born Jan. 22, 1893, Escalante, Juab County, to George Amos and Melissa Shirts Deual. Married Samuel Wilson Barton July 30, 1913, Panguitch; solemnized Manti LDS Temple. He died May 14, 1951.

Survivors: sons, daughters, Lester, South Jordan; Ned, Phoenix, Ariz.; Maxine Morgan, Taylorsville; Beverly Yost, Sandy; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, sister, Lee Deuel, Richfield; Amelia Smith. Panguitch.

Funeral Monday 2 p.m., Taylorsville 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 1399 W. 48th South. Friends call Sunday 6-8 p.m., 6500 S. Redwood Rd., hour before service at ward chapel.
Burial Murray City Cemetery.
