Seaman First Class Robert Clayton ''Bobby'' Utterback, Gunnersmate onboard the USS Franklin CV13. Born 20 Aug 1923 at Crawfordsville, Montgomery, Indiana. He is the son of John Clayton Utterback and Katherine Marie Walden. Bobby was killed 19 March 1945 near Honshu, Japan when the ship was bombed. Bobby recieved the Purple Heart.
