Henry, who resided at 628 New Castle Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Fireman First Class, U.S.S. Luce, U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was declared "Missing In Action" when the U.S.S. Luce was attacked by a Japanese suicide plane off Okinawa.

He had served the Navy for two years and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
