Son of Joseph Marzie and Antoinette Di Thomas Marzie.

Jesse, who resided at 312 Cedar Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Gunner's Mate Third Class assigned to a landing craft with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was declared "Missing In Action" during Battle in Guam.

He had served in the Navy for one year and five months at the time of his death and was awarded a Purple Heart.

His brother, Sergeant Louis Joseph Marzie, also died during World War II.
