Son of Mr. & Mrs. Arthur A. Breton.

Edmond served as a Seaman, Second Class, USS Franklin (CV-13), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Rochester, Strafford County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

Edmond was "Killed In Action" when the Franklin was struck by a bomb on her flight deck centerline, penetrating to the hangar deck, in Tokyo Bay, Japan during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Edmond was buried at sea.
