Youngest son of Ellen & George Harman. Husband of Dorothy Marion Harman. He enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 1 March 1915 and embarked from Sydney for active service abroad on 12 May 1915 per HMAT "Themistocles" (A32). He died of dysentery in the First Australian General Hospital, Cairo, Egypt, aged 22 years.
