Frederick Charles Climo was born September 15, 1879 in St.Thomas, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Edwin Climo & Elizabeth Manley. He married Rose Maud Caroline Wells on September 24, 1910 at the Trinity Church in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. He had 3 children: Ivan Climo, Margaret Lillian Climo (born June 29, 1914 & deceased January 2, 2000) & Frederick Climo Jr. He enlisted in the Canadian Army (Western Ontario Regiment) as a Private in the 18th Battalion on February 15, 1916 and died in France on August 6, 1918.
