Anna Howl
Services for Anna Howl were held Friday at the Alfalfa Baptist Church. Rev. Dwight Dickey officiated with burial in the Alfalfa Cemetery under direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home of Carnegie.
Anna was born March 12, 1903 in Stafford, Okla. she moved to the Alfalfa community in 1904. On May 7, 1920 she married Ernest Howl in Alfalfa. She lived in the Alfalfa community until 1984 when she moved to Dallas, Tex. She entered into rest on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 1990 at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 1 day.
She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Charlene H. and Robert M. Sanders of Carrollton, Texas; two grandchildren; Carol Jean Erwert of Fairborn, Ohio and Ernest Max Sanders of Richardson, Texas; four great grandchildren; David and Jonathan Erwert of Fairborn, Ohio, and Garrett and Paige Sanders of Richardson, Texas; two sisters; Ella Allred of El Reno and Alice Holtzclaw of OKC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Audie Patton.
