Woodrow served as a Private First Class, 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Rockingham County, [Seabrook-pb] New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on April 12, 1944 at Fort Deven's, Massachusetts. He as noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the manufacture of miscellaneous products and also as Married.,

Woodrow was "Killed In Action" during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
