Tracy Jane Griffith, 84, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 17, 2005. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 20 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Ronald Harris officiated.
Mrs. Griffith was born Jan. 6, 1921 in Claiborne County, the daughter of Ambrose and Emma Carey Cole.
He (sic She) was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son, Ambrose George "A.G." Hopper and family of Monroe, MI; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Troy and Bonnie Cole of Phoenix, AZ, Raymond and Wilkie Cole of Crossville and Denver and Gail Cole of Crossville; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Oma and John Eldridge of Crossville, Pearl Beason of Monroe, MI and Florence Cole of Rockwood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Elwood and Freeman Cole; and sister, Geneva Cole.
Pallbearers were her nephews and great-nephews, Braxton Eldridge, Kyle Eldridge, John Eldridge, Roger Cole, Darell Cole, Lester Cole, Steven Cole and Jeremy Cole.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
