Son of Clive Plaskett and Margaret Jane Williams Plaskett, of Bangor, Caernarvon, Wales.

Stanley was the Air-Bomber of an Avro Lancaster Mark 1, ED 451, which crashed whilst on a mission to attack the Krupps steelworks at Essen.
