ARTHUR "LONNIE" BEDWELL

Arthur "Lonnie" Bedwell, 75, Sullivan, died at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 1985, at Mary Sherman Hospital.

He was born Jan. 8, 1910, in Sullivan County to Benjamin and Mabel Batey Bedwell. He was a retired miner and a member of Lodge 263 F&AM. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Imogene.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Ring Bedwell; five daughters, Daunna Hunt, Fairbanks, Linda Woodruff, Hymera, Brenda Howard, Shelburn, Connie VanMeter, Sullivan, and Gayle Monroe, Carlisle; one brother, Russell, Paxton; three sisters, Flora Pirtle and Marie Turley, both of Sullivan, and Lavern Hughbanks, Plant City, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Nash officiating. Burial is in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m Tuesday.Obituary

He was born Jan 8, 1910, in Sullivan County to Benjamin Bedwell and Mabel Batey Bedwell. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Ring Bedwell; five daughters, Daunna Hunt, Fairbanks, Linda Woodruff, Hymera, Brenda Howard, Shelburn, Connie VanMeter, Sullivan, and Gayle Monroe, Carlisle; one brother, Russell, Paxton; three sisters, Flora Pirtle and Marie Turley, both of Sullivan, and Lavern Hughbanks, Plant City, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
