SERVICES HELD FOR P. A. VAN ZEE, 81
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2, at the Presbyterian church, for P. A. Van Zee, 81, of 1520 Linden. The Rev. John Orange officiated, and interment was at the Chariton cemetery.
Mr. Van Zee died Monday evening at the Helen and Martha Rest Home, following an illness of several months. He was a retired farmer, and had lived in Lucas county for 40 years and in Chariton the past five years.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn, daughters, Mrs. Gordon Ward of Corydon and Mrs. John Neighbour of Chariton, sons, Lester G. Van Zee of Chariton and Roy K. Van Zee of Zearing. He is also survived by five sisters and two brothers.
