FRANCES LEONE SPEIGHTS-PITTS was born on 22 September 1884 in Jones County, Georgia to James Thomas Speights and Mary "Mollie" Arthur Whaley-Speights.

Frances married Noel C. Pitts circa 1907 and they had FOUR children that are known of:

Thomas Liton Pitts (1908-1981),
Malcolm Pitts (1910-?),
John Alferd Pitts (1914-1999), and
Frances "Fannie" Leona Pitts (1916-1917).

Frances passed away on 2 April 1967 in Bibb County, Georgia, and was laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.
