Son of William Henry Rash and Evelyn Street Rash who resided at Rose Hill, Delaware.

Henry, who resided in Harford County, Maryland, served as a Technician Fifth Grade in the 216th Engineer Battalion, 16th Armored Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on September 23, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted as being employed as a Driver and also as being Married.

He died in the "Line Of Duty" when he was killed by accident in Finthen, Germany during the war.

He had served in the Army for one year and eight months at the time of his death.
