FLOYD M. DIX
BERNE, Ind. - Floyd M. Dix, 75, a native of Van Wert, died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday at his residence in Celina of a heart attack. He was a retired businessman and had operated the Stateline Tavern.
Born Aug. 27, 1894, in Van Wert, he was the son of David and Laura (Rockholt) Dix. He was married to Mamie Galloway on Jan. 16, 1919.
Mr. Dix had been a resident of Mercer County since 1948. He previously resided in Toledo.
He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges in Celina, and attended the Methodist Church.
Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Yager Funeral Home at Berne, the Rev. Laverne Howard to officiate. Burial will be in the M.R.E. Cemetery at Berne. Friends may call at the funeral home.
