Memorial service for Jessie M. (Seaman) Nederhood, 95, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Nederhood, who was born in Sumas, Wash., died Sunday.
She married Sidney Tillotson in 1925, and they later divorced. She married Lester Seaman in 1937, and he died in 1978.
In 1988 she married Oliver Nederhood. He died in 1999.
Mrs. Nederhood moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1970 and settled in Post Falls in 1975. She had worked in canneries and in harvesting for 10 years in Western Washington and then served as postmaster in Fernwood, Idaho. Mrs. Nederhood was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society for 35 years and enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include a son, Elmer Tillotson of Post Falls; three grandchildren, Jim, Geraldine, and Carla; eight great- grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and two stepgrandsons.
