ELMER E. ALBAUGH
1897 -- 2-28-1943

Elmer E. Albaugh, forty-six, formerly of Forest County, died in Warren, PA, at 1:45 pm, Sunday, February 28, 1943, as the result of pneumonia. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Irvin McGee, of California, and Betty Jane, at home; his father, J. S. Albaugh, of Tionesta; a brother, Oliver Albaugh, of Tionesta; and three sisters: Mrs. Allen Moore, of Oil City; Mrs. Archie Hepler, of Baltimore, MD; and Mrs. Lawrence Lackey, of Tionesta.

Funeral services in his memory were conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 3, at the Haslet Funeral Home in Tionesta, with Rev. B. H. Mead, pastor of the Oil City Nazarene Church officiating. During the services the pastor read the hymn "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and Mrs. Kenneth Bender, of Oil City, sang "Good Night Here, Good Morning Up There".

Interment was made in the Starr cemetery with the following as pallbearers: Allen Moore, J. A. Passauer, Fred Gustafson, Charles Passauer, B. B. Waldo and E. Ellis.

Attending the service from out of town were: Mrs. Lena Hepler, Baltimore, MD; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Albaugh, Venus; Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Passauer, Tidioute; Crystel Passauer, Pittsburgh; Miss Phyllis Moore, New Castle; and the following from Oil City: Mr. and Mrs. Allen Moore and
Wilda Moore, Mrs. Marion Bethel, Mrs. Lena Newel, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crownoble, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gustafson and son.
