Clara Della Kaufman, 69, Rural Valley RD 1 (Plumcreek Township), died at 8:25 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, 1994 at Grey's Colonial Acres Personal Care Home, RD 1, Kittanning.
The daughter of Albert Jenning and Edna Josephine Blose Reefer, she was born Oct. 10, 1924 in Rural Valley RD 1.
Mrs. Kaufman was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ.
She was formerly employed in the maintenance department of the Armstrong County Home for 13 years and Indiana University of Pennsylvania for 11 years.
Surviving are one son and three daughters:Ronald M., Rural Valley; Mrs. Alexander (Marie) Boyer, Jr., New Bethlehem RD 1; Betty Mae McCausland, Dayton RD 2; Helen Milliron, Elderton; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren; one brother and one sister:Orion Reefer and Mrs. Ray (Ilene) Fiscus, both of Rural Valley RD 1.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Kaufman, on May 22, 1989; her father on May 11, 1993; her mother on May 20, 1971; a son, Donald Kaufman on January 1951 and a sister, Erma Jean Reefer.
Friends will received today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Clark Chapel, Elderton, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, with the Rev. Fred Drayer of the St. Thomas United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery.
