Robert Emile Viens, 65, of Milton, FL passed away Friday, July 30, 2010. He was born in Haverhill, MA on October 29, 1944 to Emmanuel and Eleanor Perrault Viens.
Robert served his country for over 23 years in the U.S. Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he worked at Whiting Field for several contractors, the last being L3. Robert enjoyed being with his family and friends. He loved fishing, playing cards and going to the movies. He was a member of 7027 Council Knights of Columbus, Milton, FL and a past Grand Knight. Robert, a Roman Catholic, was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Milton.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Viens, of Milton; sons, Robert E. Viens, II and Scott J. Viens, both of Milton; daughter, Lori-Anne V. (Johnnie Wayne) Hawk; and a much loved granddaughter, Nisa-Ann Hawk; two brothers, Ernest (Gloria) Viens, of Haverhill, MA and Paul E. (Mary) Viens, of New Boston, NH; twin sisters, Evelyn Morse, of Portsmouth, NH, and Eleanor Simmons, of Haverhill, MA; several nieces and nephews; and much loved sister-in-law, Ruth (James) Bodine, of Madison, AL.
Robert was the son of the late Emmanuel and Eleanor (Perrault) Viens. He is survived by his wife Patricia A.Viens;sons Robert E.Viens 2nd and Scott J.Viens ;daughter Lori-Ann V. and husband Johnnie Wayne Hawk ;granddaughter, Nisa-Ann Hawk; two brothers,Ernest Viens and wife Gloria , Paul Viens and wife Mary , twin sisters , Evelyn Morse and Eleanor Simmons and sister-in-law Ruth and her husband James Bodine .
