Jarail D. "Rail" Jackson, 18, departed this life July 26. He was a student at Fowler High school were he played basketball and he was also employed by Wal-Mart and the Smoothie Shop. Rail is survived by his mother, Shontele Williams (Donald Lockett); his father, Joseph Jackson Jr.; five brothers, Devon Williams, Joseph, Keontae and Jaquan Jackson and Donald Lockett Jr.; four sisters, Joetavia Jackson, Danara, Diamond and Dyniesha Lockett; grandmother, Eddie Jean Landrum Wright; one uncle, Glenn Gray (George); two great-grandmothers, Bessie Brown and Freddie Rose Bryant both of Saginaw, MI and a special friend, Reggie Tarver. Calling hours will be Thursday 10 a.m. to noon at Hopps Memorial C.M.E. Church, 1110 S. State St., with funeral services to follow at noon. Garland Bros. Funeral Home

He was a victim of homicide.
