Debra J. "Deb" Tish, 53, of Loogootee, died at 4:27 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, in her home.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in St. Peter, with the Rev. William Emrick officiating. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery in rural Brownstown. Visitation will be held from noon-3 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Donor's choice.
Ms. Tish was born on April 9, 1957, in Fayette County, the daughter of Dwight and Norma J. Craig Tish.
She was a line worker at Brown's Produce in Farina. She was a member of Four Mile Christian Church in rural Brownstown. She enjoyed family, always had a smile, and liked telling jokes, working hard, fishing and boat trips.
She is survived by her mother, of Brownstown; sisters, Stacey and her husband Frank Worman of Dieterich, and Patty and her husband Roger Martin of St. Elmo; stepson, Chad Mahon and his wife Amanda of Farina, and B.J. Mahon of St. Elmo; stepdaughter, Melissa Bell of Altamont; stepbrothers, Gary, Scott and Todd Mahon, all of St. Elmo; stepgrandchildren, Destony and Micah Bell of Altamont, Blaine and Brody Mahon of St. Elmo, and Austin Myers of Farina; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; son, Brady, in infancy; life companion, Mike Mahon; stepfather, Bill Mahon; maternal grandparents, Roy and Barbara Craig; and paternal grandparents, Preston and Gail Tish.
