Mrs. Conrad Succumbs After Illness
Mrs. Lena Conrad, 65, 1857 Lexington Ave died at 5:15 p.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter Irene Bremer, 1014 W. 11th Street after a five week illness. A native of Weston Ohio, Mrs. Conrad has been a Lorain resident for the past 45 years. She was affiliated with St. Joseph Church and a member of Parish Circle #1. Besides Mrs. Bremer, she is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Joseph Beckler, and Mrs. Frank Foley, a son Alvin Conrad, all of Lorain; four brothers, John Reichert, Lorain; Charles Reichert, Elyria, Frank of Bowling Green, and Joseph of Weston, and 11 grandchildren. The body is at the home of Mrs. Bremer, 1014 W 11th Street where funeral services will be held at 9 am Friday Rev Fr. Jerome Rohner will officiate at funeral services at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church followed by burial in Calvary cemetery under the direction of the Reidy Scanlan Co.
