Mr. William Rencher, aged 59, died suddenly of apoplexy at the State Insane Asylum here yesterday morning. Mr Rencher was at one time a wealthy London cotton merchant. Failing health impaired his mind and yesterday the inevitable came yesterday morning.
Mr. Rencher leaves a brother, Mr. John Rencher of Pittsboro, a sister Mrs Latham B* Anderson of New York and his aged mother, Mrs. Louisa Rencher of Pittsboro. The deceased was a relative of Mr. Spier Whitaker of this city. The remains will be taken to Pittsboro for interment this afternoon under the charge of Mr. Percy Whitaker.
