There seems to be some confusion about Moses' last wife, Elizabeth Pierce. Some say that it was Elizabeth Pool(e) and some say Elizabeth Kirk.

Elizabeth Poole married John Jacob Kirk in 1818; he was a widower who'd had 5 children with Sarrah Wright (married 1800):
Rachel, b. 28 Aug. 1803, d. 18 Nov. 1882; never married and lived with Jones M. Kirk and Susannah Griffitts Kirk and is buried at Fox Cemetary in Grayson Co, VA and her tombstone reads "Aunt Rachel Kirk"

Jacob and Elizabeth Poole Kirk had 4 children:
Jones Minitree, b. 17 Apr. 1818; d. 16 Apr. 1897
Mary "Polly" b. 1820;

After the death of Jacob (Elizabeth was 27 with four small children and a dower of 90 acres) and the death of Moses' first wife, Ellender (with whom Moses had 8 children, spelling their last name "Pierce"), Elizabeth Poole Kirk and Moses married in 1826 and had at least 8* more children, spelling their last name "Peirce":

So it appears that Elizabeth Poole and Elizabeth Kirk are one and the same - Elizabeth "Bessie" Poole Kirk Pierce.

*Moses Peirce, born in 1823, is buried in the same cemetary with Moses Peirce/Pierce and his wife Ellender, but his parentage details have not been located in documents nor family records.
