Funeral services for Mrs. Olney McCarty Sadler, 61, wife of Van B. Sadler of Weems in Lancaster County, was held Nov. 30th, at Claybrook Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Sadler died in a Richmond Hospital. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs Lawson Hardy of Richmond and Mrs. Robert McCarty of Ottoman; two sons, AD/1C Charles S. Sadler of the Navy and M/Sgt. Clarence F. Sadler of the army; her mother, Mrs. Willie McCarty Brown of Weems; a brother, James E. McCarty of Weems; Four sisters, Mrs. Lee Sadler and Mrs Tom Ashburn of Weems and Mrs Alex Wilkins and Mrs. Joseph Rogers of Baltimore, and one grandchild.
