Mrs. Mary Augustus Dead - The death of Mrs. Mary Augustus occurred at an early hour Tuesday morning at her home in Grandview Township ten miles southwest of Paris. The aged lady died on the seventy-ninth anniversary of her birth, her demise being attributable to a complication of diseases. Aside from her husband, John Augustus, the deceased is survived by four children as follows: Henry and James Augustus of Grandview Township, Mrs. John Jenkins of Mattoon, and Mrs. Will Jenkins of the state of Kansas.
The funeral services occurred from the residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. H. M. Brooks of this city officiating. Interment was made in the Augustus Cemetery.
