MADELINE LOOK ALBEE
EAST MACHIAS - Madeline Look Albee died May 1, 2004, at Courtland Rehabilitation Center in Ellsworth. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, at Holmes Bay, Whiting, the daughter of Elmer and Frances (Preston) Look. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, William F. Albee Sr.; and a son, Carl B. Albee; her mother, Frances Look; and father, Elmer B. Look of Whiting; four sisters, Marjorie Drake, Marguerite Harmon, Dorothy Snowdeal and Joyce Maker; one brother, James Look; two half sisters, Hazel Truman and Elsie Ward; and one half brother, Otis Look. She is survived by one daughter, Marjorie S. Albee of Bangor; and one son, William F. Albee Jr. and wife, Linda, of Machias; one sister, Sandra and husband, Donald, of Cutler; five brothers, Harvey and wife, Maxima, of North Carolina, Charles of Dennysville, Orville and wife, Frances, of Connecticut, Richard of East Machias, and Elmer of Whiting; a very special grandson, Brandon Albee of Steuben; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Hanning and husband, Larry, of Addison; great-grandson, Chad Hanning; and great-granddaughter, Rebecca Hanning of Addison; many nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention; and a special friend, Betty Parker of Machias.
Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 3, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at the Holmes Bay Baptist Church, with Pastors Gary Look and Ralph Ackley officiating. Interment will be in the Look Family Cemetery.
