Billie Dean Beck, 81, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, in Ranger, TX.

Mr. Beck was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Ranger, TX, to the late Charlie and Frankie (Freeman) Beck. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1946 and received a World War II victory medal.

Billie married Peggy (Watson) Beck on May 30, 1955.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Beck of Ranger;
Three sons, Ricky Beck of Colorado Springs, CO.
Darrell Beck of Garland, TX.
Glenn Beck of Ranger, TX;
One daughter, Darla Voyles of Jacksboro, TX;

Three sisters, Glenda Hatt and Lillian Petree, both of Olden, TX, and Dorotha Wood of Mesquite, TX;
One brother, Oliver Beck of Olden, TX;
Five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Beck, and a sister, Anna Beck.

Billie was a kind man and very likable.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland. Burial will follow at Bullock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Edwards Funeral Home.
