LaVaughn H. Hinkle, 87, of the Folsom section of Ridley Township, died July 31 at the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County.

Born in Gravity, Iowa, she was a former resident of Philadelphia. Mrs. Hinkle was a homemaker. She formerly worked in the directory assistance department of the Bell Telephone Co.

She was a longtime member of Woodland Avenue United Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hinkle was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delhi Grotto.

She was the widow of William H. Hinkle, William C. Eichelberger and Don A. Keeran. Mrs. Hinkle was the daughter of the late John and Bessie Wagoner Cooper.

Survivors: Sons, Craig A. Keeran of Aspers, Adams County, William C. Eichelberger of Chambersburg, Franklin County; daughters, Donna M. Markette of the Boothwyn section of Upper Chichester, Ruth E. Crockett of Brookhaven, Gloria D. Davocato of Upper Darby; sister, Lorriene Poley of Kirkland, Wash.; brothers, Rex Cooper of Green Valley, Ariz., Jack Cooper of Redmond, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

Service: Noon Friday, Spencer T. Videon Funeral Home, 400 Shadeland Ave., Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby.

Visitation: 10 a.m.-noon Friday at the funeral home.

Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Marple.
