Death of Aged Lady
"Grandma" Buchanan died on Saturday afternoon at the home of her son, Mr. F. M. Buchanan, near Wrightsboro cemetery on Sunday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. J. W. Schwab, pastor of Wrightsboro Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Buchanan, who was 84 years of age, died quite suddenly after an illness of not more than fifteen minutes, death resulting from heart trouble.
She located in Gonzales county in the year 1871, and since that time she and her aged husband have been esteemed citizens of the Wrightsboro section. She is survived by her husband, who is two days her senior, and one son, Mr. F. M. Buchanan, a well known citizen of the county.
