Erica L. Holliday, 18, of Edwardsville, a 1999 graduate of Edwardsville High School, was pronounced dead at 6:35 pm Oct 16, 1999, in a auto accident on Route 130 about three miles north of Charleston.
She was born Nov 28, 1980, in Maryville, a daughter of Richard A. "Doc" Holliday and the late Marcia J. Snider Holliday.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville.
A twin sister, Melissa N. Holliday, 18, also was killed in the accident, as was a friend, Benjamin B. Blain of Edwardsville.
Surviving in addition to her father are a maternal grandfather, Elroy Brunnworth, and a best friend and step-sister, Nicole Tallerico.
She was a student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
