Booth Cordelia Dorius Booth, 92, of 1631 W. 1460 N., Provo, died Friday, June 13, 1975 at the Utah Valley Hospital of causes incident to age. She was born Oct. 7, 1882 in . Ephraim, Sanpete County, a daughter of Lewis Olsen and Pauline Pehrson Dorius. She married Richard Harvey Booth on June 23, 1909 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died June 10, 1941. Mrs. Booth received her early education in Ephraim and graduated from Snow College in 1901. She taught school in Ephraim in the elementary grades until 1909. Following marriage, she and her husband made their first home in Provo. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society presidency, YWMIA presidency, and working as a Sunday School teacher. She was a charter member of the Edgemont Literary Club. Active in genealogy work, she helped compile a family history. She had won trophies and ribbons at the Lindon Fair and Utah State Fairs for her artificial flower arrangements and handwork. Surviving are one son, Leland Olsen Dorius Booth, Provo; two daughters, Mrs. R. George (Nila) Hill, Provo, and Mrs. Marvin Vincent (Josephine) Rasmussen, Edgewater, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, Provo. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday prior to services. Interment will be in Provo City Cemetery.
