Frata G. Eden, 94, of Bonaparte, died at 4:15 a.m. May 18, 1988, at West Point Care Center in West Point. She was born Oct. 11, 1893, to Fred and Della Morrison in Lone Tree. She lived in Johnson County many years and had taught school there. She lived near Bonaparte until entering the care center in West Point. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She married Howard M. Eden May 21, 1914. He died in 1967. She is survived by three sons, Ralph of Farmington, Fredric of Bonaparte and George of Staunton, Va.; five daughters, Helen Latta and Gertrude Swanson of Lone Tree, Mildred Wilson of Bonaparte, Vera Hemmings of Fort Madison and Ruth Dilger of South Pasadena, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Noble of Washington and Beulah Fabrik of Virginia. The services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua and 1 p.m. Saturday at Swank Church near Lone Tree, the Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Burial will be in Swank Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
