His true first name's FRANCISZEK(it means in Polish "Frank/Francis").Frank is Pole and he was born on September 5th 1889 at 6 p.m.in Antoniówka in Poland.Roman catholic, never married/single,he had no children,so he's in reality our Great-granduncle,but he's called Grandpa altought.

Poland wasn't an independent country after annexantion in XVIII C by Prussia,Russia and Austro-Hungarian Empire. This place, where Frank lived was under Russian occupation and the life conditions there were bad and poor, with rests of feadual system,so there was no justice for normal men.
He left Poland in 1910 year and he came from Europe(Antwerpen,Belgium) to the USA first time in February 1910 and worked in a few places near the sea.
He was living and working in the USA as a labourer in Steel Fabrications in Beaver Falls PA from June 1913 to 1917 year.

He joined the US Army in May 1917(ww1,because he wanted to fight for the USA where he found better life and for independent Poland. He served in US 7th Infantry Regiment 3rd Division(Marines)Company M and was a hero and a brave soldier.Frank came with another soldiers to France in May 1918,he took a part in France in the battle of Belleau Wood(June 1918),battle of Château-Thierry on July 15th 1918.Frank was severely wounded at morning on July24th 1918 in battle between Château-Thierry and Le Charmel and died on the same day at evening after big and long suffering in a field hospital in La Ferte sous Jouarre on July 24th 1918.He died as a soldier for the USA and independent Poland, his sould went to our God and Creator for eternal prize in Heaven.

Greatgrandpa of me and my brother. He loved nature and animals, was a nice,calm,well-mannered,honest,creative man, with sence of humour.A great christian and Polish patriot. For family and Friends he has been a model of catholic faith, courage, true love, friendship, loyalty and all another human virtues and wisdom.
