Frank Joseph Leskovitz, Jr., was the son of Frank J. Leskovitz, Sr. and Lucretia Mary Giordano Leskovitz. As a six year old, he took shelter along with his mother and younger brother Ernest in sugar cane fields near Pearl Harbor, Hawaii during the attack of December 7, 1941. For a time, he seriously considered a religious life with the De La Salle Christian Brothers, where he was an athletic standout as well as the class president of Mount La Salle High School in Napa, California, class of 1953. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving at the Marine Corps Institute and Marine Barracks 8th & I Streets in Washington, D.C. While at the Marine Barracks 8th & I, he was a member of the elite USMC Drill Platoon and Presidential Honor Guard. He married Elizabeth Ann Cardella, November 1957, in Washington, DC. They had three children, Frank Joseph Leskovitz III, Timothy Bruce Leskovitz, and Joseph Edward Leskovitz . His former residence in the United States was 743 N. Hyacinth Avenue, West Covina, California. He was an executive with the Brown Jordan Furniture Company of El Monte, California through 1967 and was self-employed in the French film industry and by 20th Century Fox from 1967-1974. He died at the American Hospital of Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France in 1974.
