HUNTINGTON -- Dorothy M. Leininger, 89, of Huntington, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, at Oberlin Medical Center, after a short illness.
She was the mother of Ardith Roberts of Lodi and Roy Leininger of Wooster. She was born May 4, 1911, in Wellington to Earnest and Mabel (Mills) Beam and married Hart Leininger. He died in 1997.
Other survivors include children, Annabelle Leininger of Oberlin, and Lois Lang of Pennsboro, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lena Strickler of Lorain and Helen Beopple of Elyria.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at United Church of Huntington in Wellington, with the Rev. Stephen Carmany officiating. Burial will be at Huntington Township Cemetery. Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-9 at the church.
