She was born March 12, 1927 in California, Mo., the daughter of Henry J. and Amanda Allee Schenewerk who preceded her in death. She was married January 23, 1947 in California, Mo. to Carl H. Borghardt Sr. who passed away April 4, 1994.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Geier, Jane Imhoff and Hazel Kay and two sons, Mike Borghardt, August 21, 2004 and an infant son, Daniel Borghardt, April 13, 1959.
She was a housewife and retired from California Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, California, Mo., and a member of the Sunshine Extension Club. She was a 1945 graduate of California High School.
Services will be held at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Art Orsborn. Burial will be in California City Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association, 1121 Business Loop 70E, Columbia, MO 65201 or University Hospital-Burn Unit, 1 Hospital Drive, Columbia, MO 65202. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
